Cyber Essentials preparation. Done in a day.
We check your setup, fix what's needed, and help you complete the questionnaire — ready to submit by the end of the day.
Why businesses are getting certified now
It's not just a nice-to-have any more.
Contracts now require it
More businesses are being asked for Cyber Essentials before they can bid on contracts or renew existing ones. Many government contracts now require it as standard.
Insurers are tightening up
Cyber insurers want proof you take security seriously. Some now require Cyber Essentials before they'll even quote.
Cyber insurance through the scheme
The IASME Cyber Essentials scheme includes free cyber liability insurance for certified businesses — up to £25,000 for those with under £20m turnover. See the IASME website for full eligibility details.
The requirements keep evolving
The Cyber Essentials scheme is updated regularly with stricter requirements around MFA, patching, and more. If you certified before, your next renewal will be assessed against the latest rules.
How it works
It's three steps.
We assess your setup
We check your setup against all five Cyber Essentials controls. You'll know exactly where you stand and what needs fixing.
We fix the gaps
We implement the changes needed to meet the standard: MFA, patching, firewall rules, access control. We do the work at your desk, not in a PDF you'll never read.
You get certified
We help you complete the self-assessment questionnaire and submit it to an IASME-accredited certification body. You get your certificate, plus a report covering what we checked and fixed.
What we actually check and fix
These are the five areas the certification covers. We assess each one and fix what's needed.
Firewalls
We check your router and firewall settings, including anyone working from home, and make sure only the right traffic gets through. Default passwords get changed while we're there.
Secure configuration
Default settings are designed for convenience, not security. We go through your devices and apps to make sure nothing's left wide open. If something doesn't need to be running, we turn it off.
User access control
If someone leaves your business and their account is still active, that's a fail. We check who has access to what, remove old accounts, and implement multi-factor authentication everywhere it's available.
Malware protection
One unprotected device is all it takes. We check every device that connects to your network has proper antivirus and endpoint protection running.
Patch management
Out-of-date software is one of the easiest ways attackers get in. We check that your software is up to date, auto-updates are switched on, and anything no longer supported gets flagged.
Built for business owners like you
Most of our clients come to us for one of these reasons.
A client or supplier says you need it
There's a deadline and you need it done properly. You don't have time to become a security expert first.
Your insurer keeps asking about security
Your cyber insurance provider wants proof you take security seriously. Cyber Essentials is the standard they recognise.
The fee isn't refundable if you fail
It makes sense to have someone check your setup before you submit, rather than pay again and start over.
You'd rather someone just sorted it
The self-assessment asks technical questions about firewalls, patching, and access control. You'd rather have someone who knows the answers sit with you and get it done.
Simple, transparent pricing
No hidden fees. No ongoing contracts.
